On our Balkan & Italian holiday tour you will experience the cities of Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia and Italy. More than that, natural sites as Plitvice and Bled lake are included as well as the amazing monuments Colosseum and Roman Forum. Venice will definitely impress you with its gondolas, canals, mouth-watering cuisine and unforgettable romantic ambience.

       

DAY 1
SARAJEVO

 

Welcome to Sarajevo! Proceed to hotel for check in.

Today you will see the main sights of Sarajevo's Old Town. During a walking tour through the center of the town, you will see Bascarsija, Ottoman Bazaars, the City Hall, Latin Bridge, House of Spite, Gazi Husrev Bey's Mosque and Ferhadija Street. Hear the story about the assassination of the Archduke of Austria in 1914, which marked the beginning of World War I. Stroll through the coppersmith street to look for some souvenirs or try some traditional Bosnian pie or kebab.

DAY 2 
SARAJEVO - KONJIC - BLAGAJ - MOSTAR - SARAJEVO

      

On your way to Mostar, you will stop in Konjic. Konjic is famous for its wood carvers and the 17th Century Stone bridge. City is attractive due to its abundance of natural beauty that completely surrounds the town. 

In Blagaj you will visit the Ottoman Tekke built on rocky terrain beside the spring of Buna river, one of the biggest in Europe. 

In Mostar you will enjoy the famous Old Bridge, ordered by Suleiman the Magnificent and visit the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque with a striking view of the river and surrounding town.

DAY 3
SARAJEVO - TRAVNIK - JAJCE - BIHAC

Visit Travnik, with its ancient fortress that overlooks the entire city, Colourful Mosque, Madrassa or relax with a cup of coffee aside to emerald-green spring Blue Water river (Plava voda). 

Visit the 17-meter high Pliva waterfall. This natural beauty is located in the very center of Jajce and has been named one of the twelve most beautiful waterfalls in the world. For nature lovers, Plivsko lake and its watermills are great place to have coffee and relax.

DAY 4
BIHAC - PLITVICE - ZAGREB

Visit Plitvice lakes and enjoy the beauty of the National park, famous for its lakes, waterfalls, and forests.

Upon arrival to Zagreb you will start your sightseeing. You will see all of the important landmarks in the Lower and medieval Upper Town, such as the Stone Gate, the Parliament, the Archbishop’s Palace and more. 

In the afternoon, you will visit Islamic Center of Zagreb.

DAY 5
ZAGREB - BLED LAKE - LJUBLJANA - VENICE

First you will sightsee the beautiful Bled island, surrounded by a rich-green lake. The most famous landmark of Bled is the Church of the Assumption of Maria, rich with a diverse history.

Afterwards, you will arrive in Ljubljana, where you will visit St. Nicholas' Cathedral, the Dragon Bridge and the impressive City Hall. In the afternoon we continue our journey to Venice.

DAY 6
VENICE - FLORENCE

In Venice you will have a walking tour featuring a visit to St. Mark's Square, its byzantine Basilica, the lavish Doge's Palace, and the famous Bridge of Sighs. You will watch a skilled Glassblower fashion delicate objects in a traditional manner. Afterwards, you will be able to enjoy Venice at your own pace.

In the afternoon we continue our journey to Florence.

DAY 7
FLORENCE - SIENA - ROME

During your walking tour through the historic center of Florence you will see the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry’s heavy bronze “Gates of Paradise,” and the sculpture-studded Signoria Square.

Continuing your trip to Siena, you will enter the impressive walls surrounding the city for an orientation walk through the ancient, narrow streets to Piazza del Campo. You will see the square where the biannual Palio, Siena’s spectacular medieval-style horse race, is held.

In the afternoon we will continue to Rome.

DAY 8
ROME

Your sightseeing's in Rome will start with a visit to St. Peter’s Square and Basilica.

Visit to the Vatican Museum, famous for the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo’s murals and his fresco, "The Last Judgment" is optional.

In the afternoon, you will have the option to visit the impressive Papal Palace in Castel Gandolfo, a museum and the former summer residence of the popes, or the largest European mosque, The Mosque of Rome.

DAY 9
ROME

Your sightseeing will start with a visit to St. Peter in Chains to see Moses, Michelangelo’s famous sculpture, followed by a visit to the ancient Coloseum and the Roman Forum, where Roman legions marched in triumph, The Trevi Fountain, Piazza di Spagna, and Piazza Navona. 

Afterwards, you will be able to enjoy Rome at your own pace.

DAY 10
ROME

Depending on your departure time two options are possible: additional sightseeing or shopping.

Lastly, you will leave from the airport.

    This tour is a must if you have Italy on your bucket list!! Lucy, our tour guide was Amazing, Awesome & very friendly as well as knowledgeable!! He took us to all the best places to see & taste in Italy and Balkans! Bosnia is charming. Had so much fun & I loved our group, made a lot of new friends!
